Valentine’s Day, also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14.
1. Batik Coloring Class
Our Batik coloring class is the preferred choice for a fun, short and memorable class experience for about 30 minutes that is enjoyable for children from the age of 3 years old and above. A 20cm x 20cm sized canvas with a wax design can be selected upon availability with all colors provided and guidance with a Batik facilitator present throughout the class duration.
Children are encouraged to develop their concentration and coordination skills with coloring activities. It is also suitable for adults of all ages as coloring activities are known to be relaxing and stress-relieving for the mind.
2. Standard Batik Drawing Class
Our standard Batik drawing class is the go to choice for an all-rounded impactful introduction to the art of Batik in a 60 minutes class. You will be able to experience the step by step process of Batik making from selecting the material of your choice (cotton or silk), sketching design, Canting with wax, and coloring. All tools and materials will be provided in this class with guidance from a Batik facilitator. You will also have a choice to fix and wash your Batik painting. This will allow you to use your fabric and wash it later on without ruining the initial Batik design. *(Colors will not be as vibrant if washed)
3. Scarf Batik Drawing Class
Our scarf Batik drawing class is the upgraded choice in our intermediate class category for you to make a wearable scarf custom masterpiece in a 120 minutes class. There is an option to make either a square scarf (100cm x 100cm) or a long shawl. You will be able to experience the step by step process of Batik making from selecting the material of your choice (cotton or silk), sketching design, Canting with wax, and coloring. All tools and materials will be provided in this class with guidance from a Batik facilitator. Fixing and washing is necessary to be able to use the scarf without ruining the initial Batik design. You will have a choice to sew the seam of the scarf.
4. Batik T-shirt class
Our Batik T-shirt class is the preferred choice for a fun, short and memorable class experience for about 60 minutes that is enjoyable for children and adults. A blank white T-shirt and all colors will be provided and guidance with a Batik facilitator present throughout the class duration. Fixing and washing is necessary to wear the T-shirt. It is also suitable for kids and adults as it is memorable to be able to wear your art masterpieces.
You will get a tour, explanation and demonstration of the art of Batik before class and a personal guidance by our Batik artist during the duration of class, and bring home your Batik masterpiece as the class ends!
