Sepak Takraw  is a popular ball game in Malaysia and South East Asia.

It is similar to volleyball but using legs only, gaining its nickname – kick volleyball. The game is a team sport played with a rattan ball between two teams of two to four players on a court resembling a badminton court.

In Malaysia, this popular sport is where players touch and handle a woven rattan ball using only their feet, knees, chest, and head but not their hands.

Sepak Takraw is played since the beginning of the 15th century and is believed to have been originated by the Malacca Sultanate. It is one of the national sport for Malaysian athletes, from a traditional game played by children in villages to a well-renowned international sport in the world.
