Cotton Batik
- Turn the garment inside out
- Don’t wash with other cloths for the first 2 times until the color stable. Wash separately.
- Machine wash with cool water.
- Use mild or gentle laundry detergent.
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry, low temperature.
- Hang to dry under shade. Avoid direct sunlight.
- Use warm iron to remove wrinkles
Silk Batik
- Dry cleaning will be the best option.
- Handwash is second option
- Do not bleach.
- Hang to dry under shade. Avoid direct sunlight.
- Avoid ironing directly. Spray water on top of the batik cloth and layer over with another fabrics for ironing.
